Ed, I'm glad to hear from you again, but I sure wish the news was better. Dr. Cox is probably correct in that they can correct the problem with ablation.
I may be wrong, and don't understand the whole situation, but I still think the original Maze lll, that was mostly done with the scalpel was less problematic. Most all the surgeons use some cryosurgery now, but some a lot more than others. The surgeon that did mine used a little cryosurgery in the lesion making process on the heart, but from what I understood it was a tiny percentage of the process, as most was cut and sew. Hoping for the best for you Ed, and I will keep you in my prayers.
