This thread has really struck a raw emotion in all of us. Yes, there are risks in having the maze, yes, there are statistically more risks in not having the maze. There are no guarantees in this life on anything.
Once I decided on the maze due to the risk reward, I made my peace with God, myself, and all those close to me, and, gulp, proceeded.
Knowledge without action is as useless as ignorance. Without the help on this board, this operation decision would have been much harder to make. The operation which a few years ago was almost experimental, now is pretty much perfected. Of course, down the road many improvements will be made, if you wait, you might lose your health or life. You have to play with the deck of cards that are dealt to you.
Being a money manager, all my professional actions are based on risk/reward, so the decision to go ahead with the maze was easier, but as my EP doctor said, "this is your life, not money". My life now is a dream come true-when I say, "I have a new lease on life", I really mean it. Good luck friends, Rob.
Has anyone heard about Henry Aiken who had his maze yesterday?
