Henry: I'm glad you are finding the CC as efficient and professional as I did in January. It sounds as though you are settled in and ready to go Wednesday.
I'm pleased that you ended up with Dr. Hammer as your cardiologist. While he is precise, etc., I found him to be very honest in his explanation of the maze, the risk/reward equation, and in his desire for me to be certain that it was something I wanted to do. I immediately felt I was ready to go for the maze ASAP after talking with him. I knew I was in good hands, as you will be as well. Give him my heartfelt, NSR regards.
I'm glad to know you didn't drive to Cleveland. You cannot count on taking the bus/train back to the airport, and you need to call your airline the night before you depart to arrange for a wheelchair. I had such a lousy cab experience on arrival, I was afraid of being in an accident going to the airport to go home, so I found a company called "Towncars Only" (I believe that's right). They sent a big comfortable Lincoln, and it cost me less than $10 more than a scarey cab ride on ice, with a couple of chain-smoking Ukranians, who spoke little English. Treat yourself!
