You're not being selfish...you are just being YOU, at this time in your life, which is understandably difficult. You really can't "try" to feel some way, you are not feeling. All you could do was "pretend", and that's takes too much of your energy to do that right now. You need all your emotional, spiritual, and physical energy to get well. I'll bet you WILL too!!
